Amigurumi Crochet Little Deer Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. 


Materials

3.5 gauge light brown cotton yarn
3.5 gauge white cotton yarn
3.5 gauge yellow cotton yarn
3.5 gauge brown cotton yarn
3.5 gauge dark brown cotton yarn
Black or brown embroidery thread
Fiberfill stuffing
Scissors
Stitch marker
3.5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Embroidery needle

MR: Magic ring
Sc: Single crochet

Outter head

Yellow cotton yarn.

Chain 1 and turn.

Inner head

Snout

White cotton yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in MR (6)

Fasten off and leave thread for sewing.
Stuff with fiberfill stuffing.

Ears (X4)

Crochet 2 ears in white and then crochet 2 ears in yellow.
Then join one of each color.

Chain 10.
From 3rd chain from hook: sc, sc, hdc, hdc, dc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc. The repeat sequence over the other side of the 10 chains.
Fasten off and hide thread only in the white ears.

When crocheting yellow ear, do not cut or hide thread.
Place the yellow ear over table leaving the right side face down. And place the white ear over the yellow one leaving the right side up.
Now join both ears by crocheting sc all the way around.
At the end fasten off and leave thread to sew. Repeat one more time with the other pair of ears.

Antler (Make 2)

Brown cotton yarn.
Rnd 1. 8 sc in MR (8)
Rnd 2-6. 8 sc (8)
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Stuff with fiberfill.

Legs (Make 2) and body

White cotton yarn.
Rnd 1. 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2. 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3-4. 12 sc (12)
Rnd 5. 2sc, 4dec, 2sc (8)
Rnd 6. 8 sc (8)
Change color: yellow.
Rnd 7. BLO: sc in all 8 stitches (8)
Rnd 8-11. 8 sc (8)
Fasten off and hide thread.
Stuff leg with fiberfill stuffing.
Crochet this pattern one more time but do not finish and hide thread.
Keep crocheting as follow:

Rnd 12. chain 5, crochet 8 sc of leg 1, chain 5, crochet 8 sc of leg 2 (26)
Rnd 13-14. 26 sc (26)
Rnd 15. 11 sc, dec, 11 sc, dec (24)
Rnd 16-19. 24 sc (24)
Rnd 20. 10 sc, dec, 10 sc, dec (22)
Rnd 21-22. 22 sc (22)
Rnd 23. 9 sc, dec, 9 sc, dec (20)
Rnd 24. 8 sc, dec, 8 sc, dec (18)
Rnd 25. 7 sc, dec, 7 sc, dec (16)

Fasten off and leave thread for sewing.
Stuff legs and body with fiberfill.
With tapestry needle sew crochet.

Collar

Light brown cotton yarn.
Hold the amigurumi with the neck pointing towards us crochet collar using FLO of round 26 of the body.

Rnd 26. FLO: 2 dc on every stitch.
Rnd 27. chain 4, skip next stitch, slst in third stitch. Repeat all around.
Rnd 28. In every arch of 4 chains crochet: sc, 2 hdc, sc.
Fasten off and hide thread.

Arms (Make 2)

White cotton yarn.
Rnd 1. 5 sc in MR (5)
Rnd 2. 5 inc (10)
Rnd 3-4. 10 sc (10)
Rnd 5. 3 sc, dec, 3 sc, dec (8)
Change color: yellow.
Rnd 6. BLO: sc in all 8 stitches (8)
Rnd 7-15. 8 sc (8)
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.
Stuff with fiberfill stuffing.

Assembly

• In the ınner head (white) the face would be where the first rounds are. Sew the snout on round 3 of the inner head.
• Place the inner head inside outer one leaving the yellow flap on top and resting over the snout. Sew the outer head.
• Sew the ears at the top of the head on the same line as the edge of the flap.
• Sew antlers close to each ear.
• With dark brown cotton yarn embroider nose.
• With brown yarn embroider the marks located on top of the flap.
• With black or brown embroidery thread embroider eyes.
• Using BLO of round 26 of body sew body to head. Place it carefully so that it is straight.
• Sew arms on each side of the body just over round 25.
