Amigurumi Small Cow Mug Free Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share free amigurumi models with you here. In my article, I will share with you a model and how to make it. At the end of my article, I will share with you the detailed construction patterns of the mold.


Materials:

100% cotton yarn in light brown, dark brown, light pink, white and blue. 2.5 mm crochet hook
Fiber fill
Safety eyes (11 mm)
Sewing needle
Some threads to embroidery
Rounded cardboard piece

Abbreviation:

Ch: chain
Slst: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
BLO: back loop only
FLO: front loop only
Inc: increase
Dec: decrease
MR: Magic ring

Head (light brown)

Rnd 1: 8 sc in a magic ring
Rnd 2: 8 inc = 16 sc
Rnd 3: ( 1sc, inc)* 8= 24 sc
Rnd 4: ( 2 sc, inc)*8 = 32 sc
Rnd 5: ( 3 sc, Inc)* 8 = 40 sc
Rnd 6-7: 40 sc
Rnd 8: (4 sc, inc)* 8 = 48 sc
Rnd 9: ( 5 sc, inc)* 8 = 56 sc
Rnd 10 – 14: 56 sc (5 rounds)
Rnd 15: (6 sc, inc)*8 = 64 Rnd 16 to 17: 64 sc
Change to White yarn
Rnd 18: FLO (7 sc, inc)*8= 72 sc
Rnd 19: 4 sc, inc, (8 sc, inc)”7, 4 sc = 80 sc
Weave the ends.
Insert safety eyes between rounds 11 and 12. They must be 6 st apart.

Base (light brown yarn)

Rnd 1: 8 sc in a MR
Rnd 2: 8 inc ( 16 sc)
Rnd 3: ( sc, inc)*8= 24 sc
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc)*8 = 32 sc
Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc)*8= 40 sc
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc)*8= 48 sc
Rnd 7: (5sc, inc)*8= 56 sc
Rnd 8: 3 sc, inc, (6sc, inc)*7, 3 sc= 64 sc
Weave the ends leaving a long tail for sewing. In BLO, insert the sewing needle on the base stitch joining the remained loops from inside the on round 17. (See pictures )

Muzzle (light pink)

Ch 5. Starting at the second chain from the hook.
Rnd 1: inc, 2 sc, 3 sc at the last ch, 3 sc [10]
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, inc [16]
Rnd 3: (sc, inc) *2, 2 sc, (sc, inc)*3, 3 sc, inc [22]
Rnd 4: 22 sc
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew it between rounds 11 and 18.

Paws (light brown, make 2)

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring
Rnd 2: 6 inc [12]
Rnd 3: 12 sc
Rnd 4: 6 dec [6]
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Ears (light brown, make 2)

Rnd 1: 5 sc in the MR
Rnd 2: 5 inc [10]
Rnd 3: (sc, inc)*5 [15]
Rnd 4: 15 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Horn (dark brown, make 2)

Rnd 1: 5 sc in a MR
Rnd 2-3: 5 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Handle ( blue)

Rnd 1: 8 sc in a MR.
Rnd 2-17: 8 sc ( 16 rounds)
Stuff firmly.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the handle on the right side of the cup.

Cup/mug ( dark brown, white and blue)

We’re gonna work on the tradicional spiral. Join the last stitch with the first stitch of each round with a slip stitch. Start next round with a chain.
Starting with dark brown.
Rnd 1: 8 sc in a MR, slst
Rnd 2: ch 1, 8 inc, slst = 16 sc
Rnd 3: ch 1 , ( sc, inc)*8, slst = 24 sc
Rnd 4: ch 1, sc, inc, ( 2 sc, inc)*7, sc, slst = 32 sc
Rnd 5: ch 1, (3 sc, inc)*8, slst= 40 sc
Rnd 6: ch 1, 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc)*7, 2 sc, slst = 48 sc
Rnd 7: ch 1, (5 sc, inc)*8, slst = 56 sc
Rnd 8: ch 1, BLO 56 sc, slst
Rnd 9: ch 1, 3 sc, inc, (6 sc, inc)*7, 3 sc, slst = 64 sc
Change to white yarn.
Rnd 10: ch 1, (7sc, inc)*8, slst = 72 sc
Rnd 11 – 13: ch 1, 72 sc, slst (3 rounds)
Change to blue yarn.
Rnd 14-20: ch 1, 72 sc, slst (3 rounds)
Rnd 21: ch 1, 4 sc, inc, (8 sc, inc)*7, 4 sc, slst [80]
On the next round, let’s work with the cup and mug simultaneously . In FLO, insert the crochet hook in the next stitch of your cup and then in BLO in the last round of ( see pictures). Rnd 25: ch 1, 4 sc, dec, (9 sc, dec)*7, 5 sc, slst
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sewing instruction: insert needle yarn on the next cup stitch then on the remaining stitch of the last round of the Mug.
