Ballerina Mouse Free Crochet Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.


Level: Intermediate
Crochet hook:B/1-C/2 (2.5 mm)
Materials: embroidery yarn & needle, safety eyes 0.3 inches (8 mm), fiber filling
Yarn: Rainbow Cotton 8/4: light grey (1 skein), white (1 skein), rose (1 skein).

Abbreviations:
MR = magic ring
ch = chain stitch
sc = single crochet
[…] = number of stitches
(…) = number of rounds
Inc = 2 sc in the same stitch
Dec = work 2 sc together
 = repeat the stitches written between
the stars: 

Head in grey
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3-5: 1 sc in each s (3 rounds) [12]
Round 6: 1 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 7: 1 sc in each s [18]
Round 8: 2 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [24]
Round 9: 1 sc in each s [24]
Round 10: 3 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 11: 1 sc in each s [30]
Round 12: 9 sc, 6 inc, 15 sc [36]
Round 13: 12 sc, 6 inc,18 sc [42]
Round 14: 1 sc in each s [42]
Round 15: 6 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [48]
Place safety eyes in rnd 12, before and after the increases.
Stuff the head with fiber filling and stuff it continuous as your work develops.
Round 16-22: 1 sc in each s (7 rnds) [48]
Round 23: 6 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [42]
Round 24: 5 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [36]
Round 25: 4 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 26: 3 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [24]
Round 27: 2 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 28: 1 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [12]
Round 29: dec 6 times [6]
Put the last fiber filling into the head and shape the nose thoroughly.
Cut the yarn, insert the thread through the front loops of the 6 sc of rnd 29. Tighten and weave in the ends.

Body
Start in white.
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3: 1 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 4: 2 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [24]
Round 5: 3 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 6: 4 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [36]
Round 7: 5 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [42]
Round 8-10: 1 sc in each s (3 rnds) [42]
Round 11: work only in the back loops. 1 sc in each s [42], this is where you start the ballet skirt later on.
Round 12: 5 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [36]
Round 13: 1 sc in each s [36]
Round 14: 4 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 15-19: 1 sc in each s (5 rnds) [30]
Round 20: 3 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [24]
Change to grey, and stuff the body with fiber filling as your work develops.
Round 21: 2 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 22-24: 1 sc in each s (3 rnds) [18]
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing the head onto the body.
Stuff the rest of the body.

Tutu skirt
Work in the front loops only of rnd 11 of the body:
Round 1: 1 sc in each s [42]
Round 2: 1 sc, inc, repeat  21 times [63]
Round 3: 1 sc, inc, repeat  31 times [93]
Now, you can add a round of picot stitches like this: 3 sc, ch 2, work in the 2nd ch from the hook,1 sc, repeat till the end of the round.

Tail
In grey, ch 28. Attach the tail to the back of the body in rnd 5.

Ears 2x, grey
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3: 1 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 4: 2 sc, inc*, repeat *-* 6 times [24]
Round 5: 3 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 6: 4 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [36]
Round 7-9: 1 sc in each s (3 rnds) [36]
Round 10: 4 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 11: 3 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [24]
Round 12: 2 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 13: 1 sc, dec, repeat  6 times [12]
Cut the yarn,do not stuff the ears. Fold them flat and sew them onto the head in rnd 18 with and interspace of 12 stitches.

Nose in rose
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3-4: 1 sc in each s (2 rnds) [12]
Cut the yarn and place the nose above the first rnds from the head. It can be a bit difficult, but then
it will stay in place!

Shoulder straps
In white, ch 11, work 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, work 9 sc. [10]
Cut the yarn and sew it onto the front and the back in rnd 24 of the body.

Arms
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3: 3 sc, inc, repeat  3 times [15]
Round 4-5: 1 sc in each s (2 rnds) [15]
Stuff the hands a tiny bit. The arms are not stuffed.
Round 6: 3 sc, dec, repeat  3 times [12]
Round 7: 2 sc, dec, repeat  3 times [9]
Round 8-26: 1 sc in each s (19 rnds) [9]
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail and sew the arm onto the body in rnd 23 of the body.
Crochet one more arm the same way.

Cheeks 2x in rose
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Cut the yarn and sew the cheeks onto the face.

Feet and legs
Start in white
Round 1: 6 sc in a MR [6]
Round 2: inc 6 times [12]
Round 3: 1 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [18]
Round 4: 2 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [24]
Round 5: 3 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [30]
Round 6: 4 sc, inc, repeat  6 times [36]
Round 7: work sc in the back loops only[36]
Round 8-9: 1 sc in each s (2 rnds) [36]
Round 10: 6 sc, dec 12 times, 6 sc [24]
Round 11: 6 sc, dec 6 times, 6 sc [18]
Change to grey, stuff the foot and stuff the legs as you crochet along.
Round 12: work sc in the back loops only [18]
Round 13: 3 sc, dec 6 times, 3 sc [12]
Round 14-34: 1 sc in each s ( 21 rnds) [12]
Insert the last fiber filling in the leg and sew it onto the body so the inner side of the leg is placed
next to the MR of rnd 1. Work one more leg the same way.
Grab a long piece of white yarn and attach it to the back of the foot where the yarn changes from
grey to white, so you have two laces. Now, make 1 cross 2 times on the front of the leg, and attach
the yarn by tying a bow in the front.
