Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.
What you will need:
• Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (1 skein), the toy is 29 cm, hook 4.
• Filling
• Eyes 10 mm
• Needle for stitching and scissors
• Thin yarn for shaping eyebrows and eyelashes.
• A piece of fabric for decorating the bellies
• Yarn for the bow tie and for decorating the nose.
Legend:
• sc—single crochet
• inc—inc, knit 2 sc from one loop
• dec—decrease, knit 2 sc together (for the front half-loops)
• hdc—half double crochet

Fasten the thread, cut it off.
Muzzle
8 ch and knit into the second loop from the hook
1. inc, 5 sc, 4 sc in the last loop, turn over and knit on the other side of the chain
– 5 sc, inc*2 = 18
2. inc*2, 5 sc, inc* 4, 5 sbn, inc * 2 = 26
3. 1 sbn, inc, 9 sbn, inc, 1 sbn, inc, 10 sbn, inc, 1 sbn = 30

Fasten the thread, stuff the muzzle.
Nostrils
6 sc in a ring, ss. Fasten the thread and sew to the muzzle.
Legs-body

Knit one leg, fasten the thread, cut off. Knit the second one, do not tear off the thread –
continue knitting – make 3 ch and connect with the first leg and knit in a circle (12 sc on
one leg, 3 sc on a chain of ch, 12 sc on the second leg, 3 sc on a chain of ch, put a
marker, this will be the beginning of the row).

Fold the edges and knit a sc, fasten the thread, leave the end for sewing.
Ears
Knit in rotating rows!
1. 6 sc in the ring, turn the knitting.
2. ch, inc from hdc*6 = 12
Fold the eye in half, sew the edge and sew to the head.
Tail
A braid made from pieces of yarn, attached using the fringe method, and knit a pigtail with a knot at the end.
Butterfly bow
Hook 3, Alize Hapy Baby yarn (330m -100g). We cast on 9 ch and knit
in rotating rows 8 hdc a piece 16 cm long, sew the edges, also sew in the middle and you get a butterfly.
Assembling a knitted hippopotamus toy
1. Sew the head to the body.
2. Sew the arms to the body, stepping back 2-3 rows from the head.
3. Sew the ears to the head between 6-7 rows.
4. Eyes between 8 and 9 rows at a distance of 6 sc.
5. Sew the muzzle between rows 9 and 17 of the head.
6. Sew the tail to the body from the back on the 6-7th row.
7. If desired, decorate the tummy with fabric and tie a bow.
