Amigurumi Crochet Doll Mandy Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share free amigurumi models with you here. In my article, I will share with you a model and how to make it. At the end of my article, I will share with you the detailed construction patterns of the mold.


Materials and tools

• 100% acrylic yarn, worsted
– Forest
– Mint tea
– Coffee
– Sage
– Kale
– White
– Heather
– Soft taupe
• Crochet hook E-3.5mm, G- 4.0mm
• 10mm safety eyes
• Stuffing
• Permanent fabric glue
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Thread
• Makeup- blush
• Pipe cleaner (optional- for the neck)

Abbreviations

MR: Magic ring
Ch: Chain
BLO: Back loop only
FLO: Front loop only
Fo: Fasten off
Hdc: Half double crochet
Inc: Increase
Dec: Decrease
Rnd: Round
Sc: Single crochet
Slst: Slip stitch
St: Stitch

This doll can be made using other materials and hook sizes, the only thing that will change is the size of the doll. I used the 3.5mm hook for the body, and the 4.0mm one for the hair, skirt, and coat, and she measures approx. 33cm.

Arms (Make 2)

Start with skin color.
Rnd 1. 7 sc in MR (7)
Rnd 2-3. 7 sc (7)
Change to sage with last sc of round 3.
Rnd 4-17. 7 sc (7)
Fasten off, don’t stuff the arms.

Right leg

Start with coffee yarn, work around the foundation chain for the first 3 rounds.

Join the legs

Change to Kale yarn with last st of left leg.

Change to white yarn with last st of round 5.

Leg cuffs

In soft taupe color, make 2.
Rnd 1. chain 5
Rnd 2. (in 2nd ch from the hook) 4 sc, chain 1, turn (4)

Keep repeating rnd 3 until you have the right size (it has to cover the leg entirely)
Fasten off and leave a long tail. Sew it together around the leg.

Add the arms

Now follow the changes in color (either white or sage)

Place the 10 mm safety eyes between rows 33 and 34. With 6 stitches in between. I embroidered the eyelashes after putting the eyes.

Eyebrows: 2 st above the eyes, 4 st along.
Nose: between rows 31 and 32 (2-3 st along)

Hair

There are two layers, crochet with mint tea color.

First layer- 21 strands

Now we’ll start with the hair strands. Start on 3rd chain from hook, slst in next st on round 3.
S 1-5. Ch 40, 38 hdc (38)

S 9. Ch 25, 23 hdc (23)
S 10-14. Ch 10, 8 sc (8)
S 15. Ch 25, 23 hdc (23)

Fasten off.

Second layer- 14 strands

Start with a new thread. Work on back loops of round 3 of first layer (wrong side).
On each strand, start on the 3rd chain from hook, and slst in next st on round 3.

The second layer goes above the first layer- play around with the placement of the strands and fix them with glue.

Skirt

The 1 ch at the beginning doesn’t count as a st.
Don’t turn at the end of the round.
Work from the waist down. Use the bigger hook.

Keep the skirt upside down, join a new thread for each round (preferably on the back).

Work on the rigt side of the coat. Start with new thread on outer loops of 1st round.
